Rabbit attack ウサギの攻撃

For a few days we had a rabbit residence. The residence have decided to eat my lettuce.
数日間、うちの敷地内にウサギがすんでいました。そして私のレタス食べちゃった！

My lettuce was about to ready to eat!! I grow this for me! not for the rabbit!
レタスはウサギに食べさせるために育てていたわけじゃないのに！自分で食べるために育てていたというのに！

I called him? her? Peter.(Sex,age,address unknown) But David called him Roger. Next door Don called him Bugs. But none of the name could made him turn.
私はそのウサギを（性別、年齢、住所不明）ピーターと呼んでいました。でもDavidはロジャーと呼んでいて、お隣さんのドンはバックスと皆好き勝手に呼んでいました。どれで呼んでも振り向きやしなかったけど。

We have a lot of cats residence in our huge garden.But we have never seen any rabbits. But Don said this property once had a roster which wake every and each one of us up at 4 in the morning everyday for 2 months.
結構たくさん猫はこの敷地内にすんでいるけど、ウサギは一度もみたことがありませんでした。でも、ドンいわく、以前に二ヶ月ほど雄鶏がすんでいたときがあり、そのときは朝４時からここの住人全員をたたき起こしていたそうです。

Unfortunately our rabbit has gone before I take picture of him or her. So no picture of it. He?She? was a kind of friendly rabbit. We recon someone must was looking after.
残念ながら私が写真をとる前にそのウサギ、どこかへ引っ越してしまいました。おそらく誰かに飼われていたのか、比較的人になれていました。

I lost my nicely ready to eat lettuce. But now he?she? is gone. So should be safe now. I wonder what comes next.
私の食べごろのレタスは全部食べられちゃったけど、今はもう安全なはず。でも、次は一体どんな生き物が迷い込んでくるのか！？
