早速3回スキーに行きました。
そして、世界一の景色に出会いました。
Ski season has started.We already have been 3 times.Then we met this
stunning view.

この景色はまさにあの ロード オブ ザ リングス の世界です。
This view reminds me The Load of the Rings.
このスキー場はクライストチャーチから車で1時間。チェーンをもっていない人のために山のふもとからスキー場までの無料のシャトルバスが出ています。
毎週月曜日は２人で1人のお得なリフトパスを買えます。They have special lift pass deal on every Monday.
だけど日本ではあまりお見かけしない”Tバー”といわれるので、非常に疲れます。
But they only have T bars which I hated.
Tバーは伸び縮みするロープの先に逆さTの字のバーがついています。それをぐ一と引っ張り、おしりの下あたりにあてて、ひきずっていってもらいます。なので、上に上がるときも足元のスキーに集中して足にかなりの力を入れていないとそのTバーから落ちてしまいます。そうなると、また一番下まで下りてやり直しです。
このTバーで私は計４回転び、そのうち１回は中間地点だったのでまた下まで滑ってからやり直しました。
I fell 4 times while I was on T bar. One time was half way of the lift. So, I had to do it again from very beginning.
悔しいことにTバーの４回を入れて全部で６回も豪快に転ぶ始末。青あざがどこもかしこにも出来ました。
Sadly I fell 6 time for total. I got so many bruises everywhere of my body.
雪はまだシーズン始まったばかりだからなのかよくなく、どこもかしこも最初からアイスバーンです。山の上だけ粉雪があります。
The snow was not great due to early time of this ski season. A lot of places were icy. Only top of the mountain had nice powder snow.

This was advanced. Oh, I think this ski resort was seriously wild and dangerous for someone like me. James Bond would have no problem at all. But I am not James Bond. I loved the view from top of the mountain. Snow was good.

I would say it was best ski resort I have ever been in NZ. Great snow, range of courses.
I loved Cardrona. But it was very busy. Obviously everyone loves it.
All the days we skied was great weather. We were really lucky. Winter weather in New Zealand is usually wet or cloudy.
