ご無沙汰してます。It's been a long time.

長いことサボってました。気がつけば最後の更新から3ヶ月くらいたってしまいました。
I haven't been renewed my web site for long time. It has been a three month since last time.

一年がたちました。私たちがニュージーランドに来てから。
It has been a year since we came to new zealand.

今は冬です。寒いです。雪もちらほら丘の上にはつもっています。
Winter has been arrived.Even we can see snow on top of the hills.

新しい仕事を始めました。Sushi　Yaというところです。大学の中にある食堂のようなのです。寿司と言ってもだいぶ日本の寿司とは違い非常にやる気なくします。人気商品はクリスピーチキン巻寿司、テリヤキチキン巻寿司。クリスピーチキンは、巻寿司の中身がから揚げという変り種です。テリヤキチキンのは”照り焼き”というわりにはちっとも照っていなくて、ただの味無し鳥そぼろ巻寿司といったほうが近いです。というように、だいぶやる気を失う内容ですが、何も仕事がないよりはましなので何とかこなしています。
I have started a new job. It is "Sushi Ya". It is like a food court in university. The things we sell is nothing like the sushi in Japan. Very disappointing thing. Most popular sushi is "Crispy chicken sushi roll and Teriyaki chicken sushi roll. Crispy chicken is very bizarre thing.It is like Karaage (deep fried chicken) sushi roll. Teriyaki chicken is nothing like "TERIYAKI"(this means shiny).It is close to "No taste ground chicken sushi roll". You can see now,how disappointing my work is. But still better than having no work.

とはいっても、ここニュージーランドには、だいぶ日本食が浸透してきていると思います。ここでは巻寿司をSushiと呼んでいます。握り寿司のことはあまりまだ知られていません。寿司ネタもなぜか日本では聞いたこともないような鶏肉が主です。シーフードのねたは唯一の鮭アボカド。だけです。この国ではシーフードを嫌い、肉だけを食べる人が多いようで、そういうことになるみたいです。魚は食べるよりも、鑑賞するためにいるようです。なので、保護の力がかなり入っています。日本が世界中の魚を食べつくしていて、絶滅に追い込んでいると主張しています。
Therefore,one good thing is japanese food is becoming more and more popular in New Zealand.But not many people haven't discoverd Nigiri Sushi. Sadly, chicken we never use for sushi seems most popular. We have salmon and avocado sushi which is the only one we have seafood sushi. A lot of western people don't eat seafood.They only eat meat.They think fish is for not eating but for watching.So they try protect them from evil Japanese who eats up all the fish in this planet.

Davidは大学を卒業する予定だったのですが、教育実習を8月から9月まで再度取り直すことが必要となり、卒業先延ばしとなります。なので、私たちの将来もいまだ不明です。不安な日々がまだまだ続きます。
David was about graduate his university in this month.But he has got to take another 7 weeks teaching training in August.So we don't know about our future plan yet.

9月末には良いお知らせが出来るといいのですが。

というわけで、今はあまりエキサイティングなニュースがありません。
Anyways,we haven't got much of exciting news.

日本が捕鯨賛成してもらうために賄賂したり、娼婦をわたしていたというニュースが盛んに報道されていていい気味です。そんなニュースを聞くと、とことんどうしょうもない国だな～と再確認します。このままどんどん悪い年寄りたちの政治化の悪事を裁いていって、若い有能な人たちに立ち上がってほしいものです。女たちも”か弱い女だから～力仕事やって～”みたいな情けないこと言わず、力仕事もやるし、政治もやるし、年寄りのじじいにも間違ったことは間違っているといって、世の中を変えるぐらいのたくましさとプライドを隠さずに発揮してほしいものです。
I heard a terrible news today on TV.Japanese government were bribing and giving prostitute to other countries for getting votes to keep their whaling going. This news make me realize one thing again. How hopeless country Japan is. They should kick out all of those evil old bad politicians.Then it is time for young brains to stand up.I would like to females to stop saying "I am a fragile female. I can't carry heavy things." .They should be able to carry heavy things,handle politics and fight against to evil old people.And I don't want to them to hide their ability to change the world and their pride any more.
