無料でロックコンサート！Free Rock 'n roll!!

クライストチャーチの大地震の被災者をねぎらうため、ニュージーランドのロックミュージシャン達が募ってボランティアで先週の土曜日に、無料屋外コンサートを開催してくれました！

There were free Rock music festival in Christchurch on last Saturday to cheer the victims up from the earth quake. A lot of musicians are volunteered for us!

地震が起きてからすぐにほかのミュージシャン達を集めるため、行動に出てくれたらしいです。ものすごい行動力に感心します。お昼の１２時から日没の８時までぶっ通しです。ありがとうニュージーランドのミュージシャン達！！この国の助け合い精神は本当にすごいよ！！

Soon after the earth quake, one musician have decided to do this free concert and gathered many kiwi volunteer musicians. I am very impressed by new zealanders ability to make action. It started at midday until 8pm.8hours non stop. Thank you all the kiwi musicians!! This country is really great! Always have good spirit to help everyone and everything.

観客は全部で110,000人集まったそうです。本当かどうかはわかりませんが、もし本当だったら、クライストチャーチの全人口の1/3がいたことになります。ものすごい人数の人たちであの大きなハグレーパークがごった返して身動きできないようになって大変なことになっていました。

Total number of audience was 110.000 they said. If it's real, that means 1/3 of Christchurch population was there. Actually number of people was incredibly huge. Even large Hagley park was jump packed and we couldn't move.

でも、全部ニュージーランドのミュージシャンだったので、こちらのテレビコマーシャルで聴いたことある曲、私達が居た６時間で１曲だけでした…ありがたかったのですが、正直だいぶ退屈でした。やはり６時間ぶっ通し大音響の、一度も聞いたことのない曲聴くと、頭痛くなってきてしまい、８時までいるつもりだったんだけど６時が限界でした。ごめんなさい。こんなこと日本語でしか言えないよ。でも、本当にこのボランティア精神旺盛な人々には頭が上がりません！本当です！
